Sales, volume pricing and trials

Useful things to put in a first message, so the reply is an answer rather than a questionnaire:

• how many servers, which panel — CyberPanel or cPanel — and which distributions
• roughly how many accounts and domains per server, and whether they are yours or your customers'
• whether you run stock AlmaLinux or Ubuntu, or something else
• what you run today for malware scanning, and what specifically annoys you about it

From five servers upwards we arrange volume and reseller pricing individually.

You do not have to ask us to try it, though: the 14-day trial is bookable, free and report-only, and becomes 30 days once a payment method is on file — see how the trial works . Write to us if your case does not fit those rules, for instance a fleet you can only touch in one maintenance window.

Licence key, invoices, activated servers and support tickets all live in the client area:

Tickets there reach the same people as the email address above, but they carry your account context, which usually makes the first reply better.

Reporting a false positive

A file Shelltrap called malicious that you know is fine does not go to this page. It goes to falsepositive@shelltrap.com , from the address registered in your client area, with the finding ID, the rule name, the SHA-256 and the file itself attached. That mailbox is automated: the file is re-scanned and analysed, and the answer usually comes back within an hour from sentinel@shelltrap.com.

• How the false-positive procedure works

Mail from an address that is not registered in the client area is not processed, and a mail without the file cannot be checked automatically.

Technical questions

For questions about the scanner itself — capability tiers, the upload gate, feed signing, policies, the CyberPanel plugin — the documentation is genuinely the fastest route:

If the docs are wrong or incomplete, that is a bug and we would like to hear about it.

Reporting a security problem

If you have found a vulnerability in Shelltrap, in the licence service or on this website, please report it to security@shelltrap.com before you publish it.

• We acknowledge within three working days.
• Tell us what you did, what happened and what you expected. A proof of concept helps; a video usually does not.
• Please do not test against customer systems that are not yours, do not exfiltrate data, and do not run denial-of-service tests.
• We will keep you informed, credit you if you want to be credited, and tell you when a fix ships. We do not pay bug bounties.

Same address, and please say it is press so it goes to the right pile. We can supply the SVG artwork used on this site, architecture diagrams and a factual product description. We will not supply a detection-rate figure, because we do not have one we could defend.
